Once again, the hospitality of our fellow-classmates and picnic hosts, Dale & Del Starkenburg, welcomed us with open arms and friendship. Some eighty folks—EHS'56, '57, '58 plus spouses and guests—shared smiles and memories under the July 29th sun.
The grill was hot and the root beer cold as conversations continued throughout the afternoon. The flags were raised and our Alma Mater sung before the invitation to a table filled with an appetizing array of foods was made. It did not disappoint.
Per picnic tradition, a group photo session ensued, after which the resourceful reunion-picnic committee sliced the 60th Reunion cake and served it with home made ice cream and optional toppings. What a great event!
